Stainless steel 334 sheets is a grade of stainless steel containing an alloy comprising of 18-20% chromium, 8-10.5% nickel, 1.1% silicon and 0.2-1% molybdenum, which provides improved formability and increased corrosion resistance for applications in food processing environments. This low-carbon version makes the product particularly suitable for welding and deep drawing processes and provides excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance under normal operating temperatures.
Stainless steel 334 sheet is an austenitic, heat-resisting stainless steel with good oxidation resistance up to 1900°F. Its excellent corrosion resistance makes it ideal for marine applications and medical and food processing equipment. The alloy also offers high strength and excellent creep resistance at elevated temperatures. Its formability allows for deep drawing applications, and its weldability makes it suitable for welding without filler metal additions.
