Stainless Steel 304LN Sheet is an austenitic stainless steel alloy which contains 18-20% chromium and 8-10.5% nickel. It has low carbon content to improve performance in greater corrosion resistance, stress corrosion cracking resistance, superior strength even at cryogenic temperatures and higher values of impact energy absorption. It features good formability, weldability and excellent toughness during cold working operations. The addition of nitrogen enhances the grain refinement that, adds improved property retention, as increases its fatigue strength at elevated temperature levels when compared with Alloy 304L/304LN
Stainless Steel 304LN Sheet is a highly ductile and malleable material with superb strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent formability. It offers superior mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength at elevated temperatures, compared to conventional austenitic stainless steel grades. It features oxidation resistance to 900°C and good low-temperature toughness, thus making it ideal for corrosive environments. Its uses include automotive parts, heat exchangers, aircraft components, medical implants and more.
