Inconel 690 Coil

Inconel 690 Coil

Inconel 690 Coil is a nickel-chromium alloy that provides high resistance to corrosion, oxidation and pitting in aqueous media. Its composition includes 58% Nickel, 29.5% Chromium, 1.25% Molybdenum and 0.9% Tungsten, as well as trace amounts of Manganese, Iron, Silicon and Carbon, making it highly resistant to stress-corrosion cracking in boiling nitric acid or formic acid environments. This makes it ideal for use in the chemical industry for handling harsh chemicals or corrosive solutions such as sodium hydroxide or sulfuric acid.

Inconel 690 Coil is a nickel-based alloy used in extreme temperatures and corrosive environments. It has excellent oxidation resistance, stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and fatigue. It is commonly used in chemical processing due to its high-temperature strength and creep resistance properties. It is also used in pressurized water reactors due to its outstanding light water corrosion performance and in atmospheric power generation plants because of its good steam generator alloy properties.
