Hastelloy X Foil

Hastelloy X Foil

Hastelloy X Foil is an alloy of nickel, chromium, and iron. It has a high-temperature capability, good corrosion resistance, excellent oxidation resistance, low vapour pressure characteristics and high strength in both the hot and cold states. The composition comprises approximately 55% nickel, 20-25% chromium, and iron and molybdenum at a concentration of 2-5%. This combination provides significant heat stability to the metal, which makes it ideal for use in demanding industrial applications such as furnace components or furnaces.

Hastelloy X foil is a soft, malleable alloy of nickel, molybdenum, chromium and iron. It has excellent thermal stability and high-temperature strength, making it highly oxidation-resistant. It is often used to fabricate parts for aerospace engines due to its superior corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Hastelloy X foil also has good formability and weldability properties, which enables it to be easily shaped into intricate shapes without compromising its strength or durability.
