Hastelloy C-4 Sheet

Hastelloy C-4 sheet is an alloy of nickel, chromium, molybdenum and tungsten. It has excellent oxidation resistance and low-stress corrosion cracking properties, making it ideal for use in highly corrosive environments. Its superior strength and formability make it suitable for forming into sheets, plates and coils. It can be used in various applications, from chemical processing plants to heat exchanger tubing.

Hastelloy C-4 Sheet is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy particularly suited for fabricating components requiring resistance to stress-related corrosion cracking in environments containing sulphuric and hydrochloric acids. It exhibits excellent oxidation and creep resistance, making it suitable for use up to around 1200°C. Its outstanding corrosion resistance properties allow Hastelloy C-4 sheet to be used in other corrosive applications such as phosphoric acid, acetic acid, seawater and chlorine systems.
