Hastelloy B3 Pipe Fittings is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with superior resistance to hydrochloric acid and other strongly corrosive environments. The high molybdenum and nickel content makes Hastelloy B3 an excellent choice for use in hostile environments where other alloys have failed. The addition of tungsten gives Hastelloy B3 the unique ability to resist pitting and crevice corrosion.

B3 Hastelloy Pipe Fittings is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to pitting, corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking. The high molybdenum content makes this alloy resistant to localized attack by alkalis and minerals. Alloy B-3 also resists hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. This nickel steel alloy is resistant to knife line and heat-affected zone attacks. Additionally, it resists formic acid, acetic acid, anchoritic acids, sulfurous acids, and other non-oxidizing media.
