Brass C27000 Coil is a commercial alloy of copper and zinc. It comprises 67-70% copper, 29-33% zinc, 0.05%-0.35% lead and traces of iron, manganese, antimony and other elements. Commonly known as yellow brass or cartridge brass, this alloy exhibits excellent hot forgeability qualities and strength when used for coil fabrication in both the annealed and cold worked conditions.
