Alloy Steel GR 911 Sheet

Alloy steel A387 Gr 911 is a ferritic alloy with chromium and Molybdenum as its main components. It is very corrosion-resistant and has excellent mechanical strength compared to ordinary steel. The composition of this alloy includes Carbon (max .08%), Silicon (max .50%), Manganese (min 0.9-1.2%), Phosphorus (max .035%), Sulfur (Max .035%), Chromium(8-10 %), Molybdenum (0.85 - 1.15 %), Columbium/Tantalum (.03%).

Alloy Steel A387 Gr 911 Sheet is a wear-resistant, high-strength alloy steel plate with good corrosion resistance and toughness. It is particularly useful in applications where elevated temperatures are a factor, as it can handle higher-temperature environments without degradation or loss of mechanical properties. Additionally, this grade offers excellent weldability and formability characteristics.
