Stainless Steel 347H

Stainless Steel 347H is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel known for its excellent corrosion resistance. Its composition comprises 18% chromium, 11% nickel, at least 2.1% columbium (niobium), and small amounts of other alloying elements such as molybdenum and titanium. This unique combination improves strength over regular Grade 304 stainless steel, making it ideal for higher tensile strength and heat resistance applications. The superior corrosion performance of this material makes it suitable for various industrial purposes, from cryogenic storage tanks to automotive exhaust systems.

Stainless Steel 347H is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with higher carbon levels, allowing it to be used in applications requiring high strength & superior corrosion resistance. Its unique combination of properties makes it ideal for use in extreme temperature environments (both high and low) with excellent aqueous corrosion resistance, making it ideal for marine applications. Additionally, its good oxidation resistance can withstand intermittent service up to 870°C.
