Stainless Steel 310

Stainless Steel 310 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with a high melting point. It contains roughly 19–30% chromium, up to around 30% nickel, and a maximum of 0.15% carbon. It also has good oxidation resistance and superior strength at temperatures up to 1100˚C (2000˚F). Its properties make it ideal for use in furnaces, boilers, ovens, kilns and other heat exchangers. Further benefits include its excellent fluidity and ease of fabrication, which can be used in making tanks, pressure vessels, pipes and other components that require particular strength or corrosion resistance. All these qualities make Stainless Steel 310 a great choice for different industrial-process applications.

Stainless Steel 310 is a heat-resisting alloy that contains around 25% chromium and 20% nickel. It has excellent corrosion resistance, creep strength, and oxidation resistance up to 2000°F. Moreover, this alloy is preferred for its high ductility properties at high temperatures and low carbon content, which provides excellent weldability. It's also relatively easy to machine and polish. These features make it an ideal choice in applications requiring elevated temperature stability or exposure to corrosive elements, such as metal fabrication industries and equipment manufacturing.
