Stainless Steel 13-8 PH

Stainless Steel 13-8 PH is a precipitation-hardening stainless steel with excellent strength, high corrosion resistance and good weldability. It comprises elements like iron (Fe), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), manganese (Mn) and carbon (C). It also contains small amounts of molybdenum (Mo) and aluminium/copper(Al/Cu). The high levels of chromium give this alloy superior corrosion properties, while the other elements contribute to its unique combination of structure, flexibility, fracture toughness, strength and hardness.

Stainless Steel 13-8 PH is a precipitation-hardening steel alloy with excellent corrosion resistance. It combines good mechanical properties such as high strength, outstanding fatigue strength, and good machinability. Given its amazing properties, stainless steel 13-8 PH is widely utilized in aircraft parts and components exposed to harsh environments due to prolonged exposure to high temperatures and stressed environments. This material also finds use in machine tools, medical implants, fasteners, etc., due to its superior tensile strength and resistance against embrittlement even after long usages.
