Inconel 625

Inconel 625 is an alloy made of nickel, chromium and molybdenum. It's a highly corrosion-resistant material with excellent strength and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures up to 2,000°F (1,093°C). This makes it ideal for the aerospace and oil & gas industries. Other elements, such as niobium, are added to increase strength further without reducing its flexibility or elasticity. Adding niobium also increases resistance to chlorine ion stress corrosion cracking and various forms of pitting attack normally encountered in chemical media.

Inconel 625 is an alloy of nickel, chromium and molybdenum, making it highly corrosion-resistant and oxidation-resistant. It can withstand high temperatures and is commonly used in aerospace applications due to its low thermal expansion coefficient. Inconel 625 can also be used in chemical processing industries, such as in equipment for handling acetic acid. It's also frequently employed in petrochemical applications like pumps, valves, fasteners and vessels due to its superior strength at elevated temperatures.
