Brass C33200

Brass C33200 is an alloy of copper and zinc, containing approximately 67% copper and 33% zinc. It provides excellent hot workability and corrosion resistance due to its low lead content of 0.06–0.15%. The addition of tin to this alloy enhances the strength properties, while small additions of iron increase rigidity and machinability. The combination makes it ideal for use in marine plumbing applications and architectural items such as door handles, window frames, locksets and hinges.
